Foster completed his medical on Tuesday. He will not occupy a designated player spot for Houston, sources say.Foster, who turns 26 on Thursday, has 10 goals in 28 appearances for his country. He has been at Burnley since 2023, where he had five goals and three assists in the Premier League across 24 appearances that season.
The forward helped Burnley gain promotion the following season and then had three goals and two assists in 26 appearances (1,372 minutes) in the Premier League last year as Burnley got relegated again.Foster joins a Houston attack that also added forward Duncan McGuire earlier this summer, as DP (designated player) forward Ezequiel Ponce departed.Houston also transferred Jack McGlynn to Stoke City for a fee of up to $5.5 million this week, as first reported by The Athletic.The Dynamo sit second in the Western Conference with 39 points after 22 matches.
