The team is currently seeking a new GM after electing to mutually part ways with David Forst last month. Should the A's add some starters in free agency or in the trade market, it could make competition in the rotation next season a little bit difficult. Jump started off super hot for the A's, but his last handful of starts have been pretty rough. Lopez started off cold, got sent down, and now is turning into one of the more trusted arms in the rotation. Both will have to earn spots in camp.Competition is good for a guy like Arnold, who can shine at any moment and has proven he can pitch at a high level.
