Following a 14-win season in 2024, the Minnesota Vikings slipped to 9-8 in 2025 and missed the playoffs. They enter 2026 with Kyler Murray now under center after he beat out J.J. McCarthy for the job, and an offense looking for stability after cycling through three starting quarterbacks last season. The defense is undergoing an even more substantial overhaul as several key veterans departed in the offseason.There is change at the top, too. Nolan Teasley is the new general manager, hired in June following 13 seasons in Seattle. But the Vikings have continuity on the sideline. Kevin O’Connell is in his fifth season as head coach, with Brian Flores returning for a fourth running the defense.Meanwhile, the offensive core remains largely intact.
