The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) issued updated recommendations on the prevention of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and the use of COVID vaccines.The AAP continues to recommend monoclonal antibodies to protect against RSV in infants and certain young children, as well as vaccines to protect against COVID in young kids and certain older kids.The recommendations come as major medical organizations have been keen to help fill a gap in vaccine guidance left by the federal government.
