ALBAWABA - A bus crash in Egypt has killed 17 and injured at least 28, Egyptian health authorities announced Wednesday. A Jordanian government source confirmed the deaths of ten citizens in the bus crash in eastern Egypt. The bus was carrying 43 people, including 22 Jordanians.Al Mamlaka news channel reported Wednesday, "10 Jordanians died after a passenger bus overturned on the Dahab-Nuweiba road in the South Sinai Governorate of Egypt."The crash occurred on the road between Dahab and Nuweibaa on the South Sinai peninsula.Egypt's health ministry said the incident occurred on the Dahab-Nuweibaa road in South Sinai, in an area along the Red Sea coast that is popular with tourists.According to the AFP news agency, 20 ambulances rushed to the scene of the accident on the country's eastern coast.The nationalities of those who died have not yet been released by the health ministry, which said medical teams are working at "full capacity" and that the situation is being "monitored moment by moment".
