Mahindra Group announced the appointment of Purnima Lamba as Chief Brand Officer on Wednesday.Lamba has an experience of 25 years across India, the UK and the Netherlands, bringing deep global experience in brand building, strategic thinking, digital innovation, and consumer insight.At Mahindra, she will "shape and steward Mahindra Group’s corporate brand and communications strategy, building a compelling brand narrative and strengthening brand consistency across our diverse businesses and platforms," the company said.Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra welcomed Lamba in a social media post, saying that being the steward of a brand comes with “great responsibility” as well as an “extraordinary canvas”.He said brand stewardship has changed in an era where new-age media moves at “breakneck speed” and attention spans are measured in seconds.
