NIO’s sales continue to rise in 2026. Well, there is one area where they were very barely down in August — comparing sales month over month. Otherwise, though, they continue to be solidly up, even if not dramatically so.
The company’s sales rose 14.5% year over year last month. The company scored 35,836 deliveries, compared to 31,305 in August 2025. It was NIO’s 7th best month ever. Though, the three previous months had higher sales — 37,705 in May, 40,597 in June, and 35,934 in July. So, was August a good month or not a good one? I’ll let you decide.
Across the first 8 months of the year overall, NIO’s sales were clearly strong. Totaling 262,893 deliveries, the company’s numbers were up 57.9% year over year — from 166,472 across the same period in 2025.
