Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State has assured stakeholders from the Northern Senatorial District of urgent government intervention in infrastructure, education, electricity and economic development.
The governor gave the assurance during a high-level engagement with political leaders and stakeholders at the Ogoja Local Government Council headquarters.
The meeting focused on critical issues affecting the region, including roads, bridges, the proposed university, the revival of the Okuku International Market, electricity supply and economic development.
Responding to the concerns raised, the governor said urgent and high-impact projects would receive priority.
