Vice-President J.D. Vance escalated an increasingly personal feud against Democratic Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed during a campaign stop in the state this week when he called the public-health official “evil” and told El-Sayed to “keep my wife’s name the hell out of your mouth.” It was the latest volley in a now-monthslong war of words that both pugilistic politicians seem to relish.
