The Building Futures Skilled Trades Coalition aims to train and develop 1 million skilled trades workers by 2035

The Lowe's $LOW Foundation launched the Building Futures Skilled Trades Coalition on Tuesday, bringing together more than 75 companies, educators, and workforce organizations with a goal of training and developing 1 million people for skilled trades jobs by 2035.
Corporate members include Nvidia $NVDA, AT&T $T, Bank of America $BAC, Carrier, General Motors $GM, DeWalt, and Duke $DUK Energy, the foundation said. Trade organizations such as the National Association of Home Builders, the National Center for Construction Education and Research, and SkillsUSA are also participating, along with apparel company Carhartt.
