The Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed the Super Eagles’ first fixtures of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, scheduled for this month.

Nigeria will begin their qualifying campaign against “Madagascar at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.”

They will then travel to Morocco to face “Guinea-Bissau in their second qualifying match on Sunday, September 27.”

This was contained in a fixture graphic posted on the official Super Eagles X handle on Tuesday.

The matches are part of the opening two matchdays of the 2027 AFCON qualifiers, with Nigeria drawn in Group L alongside Madagascar, Tanzania and Guinea-Bissau.
