BISHKEK, September 1. /TASS/. Moscow is trying to support Tehran during a difficult period for the country by supplying necessary goods, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with Iranian leader Masoud Pezeshkian.
Pezeshkian, in turn, thanked Putin for support for his country during its conflict with the United States.

Iran-US confrontation
The United States has no justification for its actions against Iran, Pezeshkian said: "They [in the United States] talk about democracy and respect for human rights. They have no grounds to justify their actions [against Iran]."
