China is ready to strengthen communication and coordination with all parties, as well as to promote a political resolution of issues, including the situation in Ukraine.
This was stated on Tuesday, September 1, during a speech at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, by Xi Jinping, leader of the People’s Republic of China, according to Ukrinform.
“Regarding Ukraine, the Middle East, Afghanistan, and other international and regional hot-button issues, China is ready to strengthen communication and coordination with all parties, continue to address both the symptoms and the root causes of these problems, and promote political settlements,” he said.
Xi Jinping added that China invites more like-minded countries to become partners in joint efforts to improve the regional and global governance system.
