The machine learning system scans 28 live images per second to detect, track and predict gaps between teeth.Once a gap is detected, the toothbrush can identify and target it within 100 milliseconds. It then releases a conical burst of mouthrinse into the gap, allowing users to clean between their teeth while brushing.The system uses 16 million lines of code and a machine learning model trained on 470,000 dental images collected during development.Conical jet designed to target gapsDyson CameraJet uses a broad, conical-shaped spray designed to cover a wider area and remove plaque from between teeth. Dyson said the jet is optimised to operate at lower pressure to be gentler on gums and enamel.The toothbrush has a 12.5ml mouthrinse tank that dispenses the recommended amount of mouthrinse for a cleaning session.
