Ferrari will celebrate Michael Schumacher’s legacy with a special, one-off Formula 1 car livery for this weekend’s Italian Grand Prix at Monza.Ferrari revealed its revised paint scheme for its home race weekend on Tuesday, as well as providing more details on events to celebrate 30 years since Schumacher joined the team.Schumacher won five of his seven world championships while racing for Ferrari between 1996 and 2006, becoming the most successful driver in its history. In his first season with the team, he scored its first Italian GP win at Monza since 1988.In honor of Schumacher, Ferrari will adopt a livery inspired by its 1996 car design for this weekend, featuring retro car numbers, white wings, plus a red engine cover and cockpit to replace the usual white.Both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton’s cars will also carry Schumacher’s personal logo, as well as seven white stars — one for each of his championships — on the nose of the car. The drivers will also have special race suits, gloves and shoes for this weekend.

The model from his first season in 1996, the Ferrari F310, will be joined by Schumacher’s final Ferrari from 2006, the 248 F1, and the F2002 which provided the German with one of his greatest F1 campaigns.
