At least two Palestinian children have been killed in fresh Israeli attacks across Gaza, Wafa news agency reports.
According to medical sources, at least one child was killed in a strike west of Gaza City, and another in an attack in Deir el-Balah in central Gaza.
Al Jazeera described chaotic scenes in Gaza City following "intense" Israeli attacks, reporting that 10 blasts were heard in al-Kateeba - one of the most densely populated areas of western Gaza City.
It said that a field hospital and school were evacuated during the attack, adding that it is currently unclear how many people have been wounded. Al-Shifa Hospital reports that casualties are still arriving.
Meanwhile Israel's military said its forces targeted several areas across the Strip "with the aim of removing threats".
