Two insurtech startups, InsuranceDekho and RenewBuy, have announced a merger to build a pan-India insurance distribution platform.
According to a company statement, the combined entity will bring together InsuranceDekho’s strong presence in northern and western India with RenewBuy’s network in the south.
The merged business will have a premium book of over Rs 6,600 crore, more than six lakh digital partners, and coverage across 98.57% of India’s pin codes as of March 31, 2026.
The combined business will operate under the InsuranceDekho brand, with Ankit Agrawal, Founder of InsuranceDekho, leading the unified entity.
The founders of both companies will continue with the merged organisation, the statement said, ensuring continuity in leadership, execution, and long-term strategy.
