UAVs attacked the Ust-Luga port in Russia’s Leningrad region overnight on Tuesday, September 1, sparking a fire in the port area.
Ukrinform reports this, citing Astra on Telegram.
“Following the UAV attack, damage was recorded in the Ust-Luga port area, and a fire broke out. Emergency services are working at the scene. Information about the consequences is being clarified. Efforts to repel the attack are ongoing,” Leningrad Region Governor Alexandr Drozdenko said in a statement cited by Astra.
According to Fontanka, an air raid alert was declared in the region at 02:03. Pulkovo Airport temporarily suspended departures and arrivals.
