The new agreements bring the total number of companies in the administration's most-favored-nation pricing program to 26

President Donald Trump on Monday announced drug pricing agreements with nine additional pharmaceutical companies, extending his administration's push to align what American patients pay for medications with prices charged in other countries.
According to the White House, the nine companies that entered into the new agreements are Alcon, Astellas Pharma, BeOne Medicines, BridgeBio, CSL, Kyowa Kirin, Sun Pharma, Teva Pharmaceuticals, and UCB. The agreements bring the total number of companies in the administration's most-favored-nation pricing program to 26, which Trump said represents 90% of the domestic pharmaceutical market.
