New guidelines outline pharmacological treatment for migraine prevention

New guidelines from the American Academy of Neurology and the American Headache Society are meant to help clinicians provide preventive treatments and medication to adults with migraine more effectively, according to the authors. The updated guidelines incorporate new developments in research that have taken place since the last update in 2012, said guideline author Rebecca C. Burch, MD, a
