NewsUK NewsCar crashesTwo men, aged 25 and 26, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a collision between a car and a bus in Harrow, London17:12, 31 Aug 2026Updated 17:17, 31 Aug 2026A 25-year-old man has died after a horror crash between a bus and a car which also left the bus driver with life-changing injuries.‌Two men in their 20s have been arrested following the collision in Honeypot Lane, Stanmore, in the London Borough of Harrow last night.‌Paramedics and police were called to the scene at 11:58pm last night but despite the best efforts of emergency crews the, the driver of the car, a 25-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.‌A 44-year-old man, the driver of the bus, was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital. He suffered injuries that have since been assessed as life-changing, the Met Police said in a statement.Two men, aged 25 and 26, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. A 51-year-old man was later arrested for the same offence. They all remain in police custody.‌Acting Detective Inspector Fiaz Janjua, who is leading the Met’s investigation, said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the victim at this extremely difficult time.“While we have arrested two men who are in custody, the investigation remains at an early stage.
