Nine Koreans rescued after being stranded by massive flooding in Nepal returned home Monday, according to Doosan Enerbility Co. They arrived in Korea around 2 p.m., were given health checks, and none required hospitalization. One remaining employee stayed behind to support search and rescue operations. Nine other Koreans remain unaccounted for.

Nine out of the 10 Koreans who were safely rescued after being initially stranded following massive flooding in Nepal returned home Monday, their company said.
Doosan Enerbility said nine of its employees who were rescued from flood-stricken areas in Nepal arrived in Korea around 2 p.m.
They underwent health checks immediately upon arrival and then returned home, with none suffering health problems severe enough to require hospitalization.
