Russia has attacked a VARUS warehouse in the Kyiv region, potentially causing delivery delays and temporary shortages of some products on store shelves.
Ukrinform reports this, citing VARUS Ukraine, in a Facebook post.
“Overnight on August 30–31, the VARUS warehouse in the Kyiv region came under attack again. Most importantly, everyone is safe, and none of our employees were injured,” the company said.
The attack, however, caused significant damage, with a large quantity of goods damaged or destroyed, the company said. As a result, deliveries may be delayed in the coming days, and some products may be temporarily unavailable at VARUS stores.
“ We are already doing everything we can to restore supplies as quickly as possible and ensure that our stores have the necessary product range. At the same time, we sincerely sympathize with our partners whose goods were stored at warehouse facilities next to ours and were also damaged in the attack,” VARUS said.
