A drone struck a high-rise apartment building in the city of Yekaterinburg as Ukraine targeted a logistics hub owned by online retailer Wildberries, local officials and Russian media reported on Monday afternoon.
Sverdlovsk region Governor Denis Pasler said four people were injured in the air attack. Artyom Zhoga, who serves as President Vladimir Putin’s representative to the Urals Federal District, confirmed several apartments were damaged.
Independent media cited Yekaterinburg residents as saying that several fires erupted throughout the city as a result of the drone barrage. Photos on social media showed damage to the upper floors of a high-rise apartment building.
