Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian has vowed that Tehran "will not stand by" following US attacks on Larak Island.

“We do not seek war, that has been our message to the world,” Pezeshkian said.

But he warned that Tehran is "capable of delivering a decisive response".

"Instability in this region would affect everyone and create serious problems," he said.

Meanwhile, Iran’s deputy foreign minister for legal and international affairs, Kazem Gharibabadi, said that “foreigners must be cut off” from the region following the attack.
