Ukraine's air defense forces neutralized 96 of the 121 drones used by Russian forces to attack Ukraine since the evening of August 30.

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force Command announced this on Facebook.

"On the night of August 30-31 (from 18:00 on August 30), the enemy attacked Ukraine with one Kh-59 guided air-launched missile launced from the airspace over the Black Sea, as well as 121 Shahed-type attack drones (most of them jet-powered), Gerberas and Parodiya decoy drones launched from Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as occupied Donetsk and Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea," the statement said.

The air attack was repelled by Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
