President Donald Trump reportedly called Nvidia Corp (NASDAQ:NVDA) CEO Jensen Huang during the chipmaker’s all-hands meeting Thursday, hours before publicly celebrating the company’s blockbuster quarterly results.

Trump Calls Jensen Huang During Nvidia Meeting

Huang was addressing employees at Nvidia’s Santa Clara, California, headquarters when he received a call from Trump, Wired reported, citing three people who witnessed the interaction.

Huang stepped away from the stage to answer his phone, but Trump’s voice could reportedly be heard through Huang’s microphone. Employees could not make out what the president was saying and Huang returned to the stage less than a minute later.

The unexpected interruption quickly became a talking point among Nvidia employees.
