The Korean infielder went 0-for-2 with an RBI, a walk and a steal in the Padres' 5-4 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, on Sunday (local time).
Song was called up from Triple-A El Paso just before the game and got the start at third base while batting ninth, six days after he had been sent down to the minors.
