Police thwart bandits’ attack, rescue traditional title holder unhurt in Kano

The Police Command in Kano has rescued a kidnapped victim, Alhaji Yusif Nadabo, the Sarkin Noman Kano, who was abducted by suspected bandits in Garun Mallam Local Government Area of the state.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), CSP Abdullahi Haruna-Kiyawa, on Sunday in Kano.

He said: “On Aug. 29, at about 11:30 p.m., a distress call was received that some miscreants suspected to be bandits stormed Garun Mallam town and started shooting sporadically in the air.
