A ferry carrying more than 260 passengers capsized off the coast of Turkish-occupied northern Cyprus on Sunday, Turkish media reported.
The catamaran-style ferry was traveling from the port of Kyrenia in the breakaway north of ethnically divided Cyprus, to the Turkish port of Tasucu in Mersin province.
There were no immediate reports of casualties.
An official in Kyrenia told broadcaster CNN Turk that 159 of the 258 passengers on board the vessel had been reached.
The ferry started taking in water a few miles off the coast, the Turkish state-run TRT news channel reported.
