The Chief Executive Officer of Coronation Wealth, Izekeo Adegoke, tells NAOMI CHIMA about her career trajectory, wealth creation, leadership and the challenges of being a woman in the financial services industry
What can you tell us about your background?
I studied Computer Science and later obtained a Master’s degree in Information Systems Management because I have always been interested in technology. From an early age, I have been fascinated by the idea of transforming manual processes into digital solutions that make things easier and more efficient for people.
I am from Edo State and the only girl in a family of four. My father always encouraged me to succeed and pushed me to keep going, particularly in a field where I was often surrounded by men.
Having a father I could lean on and who constantly encouraged me not to give up played a significant role in shaping the person I am today. He taught me to believe in myself and not allow the challenges around me to define what I could achieve.
