Expectant police officers are among those set to benefit from Kenya’s newly redesigned General Duty police uniform, which was unveiled by President William Ruto at the National Police College in Kiganjo.
The new uniform was introduced on Friday during the passing-out parade of more than 6,000 Police Recruit Constables who completed nine months of training.
The recruits, who joined the college on November 24, 2025, are expected to be among the first officers issued with the new attire as they begin deployment across the country.
The redesign changes the long-standing all-deep-blue police uniform.
