Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ:NVDA), Marvell Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:MRVL), Salesforce Inc. (NYSE:CRM), IREN Ltd. (NASDAQ:IREN), and CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:CRWD), semiconductor, cloud, AI, software, data centers, and cybersecurity, reflected strong retail interest.

NVDA news this week centered on its second-quarter fiscal 2027 earnings, which showed revenue of $96.2 billion, up 106% year-over-year, beating estimates, and data-center revenue of $89 billion, up 117%, with adjusted EPS of $2.22. The company guided for about $108 billion in third-quarter revenue and a bullish ~70% revenue growth outlook for fiscal 2028, far above analyst expectations of ~45%. CEO Jensen Huang declared AI had reached an "inflection point," and it also announced an expanded AWS partnership to deploy an additional 2 million GPUs.
Retail investors were highly bullish on NVDA post-earnings and were expecting it to scale fresh record.
