Fans are mourning the passing of actor, Samuel Monroe Jr. 52 and singer Jaye P. Morgan 94.
Monroe Jr, was known for appearing in popular Black films in the 1990s. His mother, Joyce Patton, confirmed the sad news in a social-media post, News York Times reports.
He suffered from MRSA pneumonia and meningitis, and his condition became worse in recent months, requiring intensive treatment, dialysis and several surgeries as doctors worked to manage his complications.
He became widely known after his first film role in the 1993 movie Menace II Society.
