In the Bucha District of the Kyiv Region, 27 people are known to have died as a result of the Russian attack.
According to Ukrinform, Timur Tkachenko, head of the regional state administration, reported this on Telegram.
"Efforts to address the aftermath of the enemy strike in the Bucha District are ongoing. We are coordinating all relevant services on the ground. Unfortunately, as of now, 27 people are known to have died. And this figure may not be final. I extend my sincere condolences to the families and loved ones,” he said.
The head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration added that emergency rescue and firefighting operations are currently underway at the site. Work is underway to dismantle structures, extinguish fires, conduct search and rescue operations, and inspect buildings and the surrounding area.
Medical services are on site. According to available data, 42 people sustained injuries of varying severity, including four children. All received qualified medical care, and seven victims were hospitalized.
