Forex reserves rise by $12.42 billion

What's the storyIndia's foreign exchange reserves have hit a new high of $729.33 billion, a jump of $12.42 billion from the previous week, according to the data released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
The rise in reserves is largely attributed to inflows from foreign currency assets and gold reserves, following recent measures taken by the RBI to boost forex inflows into the country.
