Russia's losses in Ukraine are exceeding the pace of new recruitment by around 6,000 troops per month, prompting the Kremlin to shift its focus towards large-scale strikes on civilian and energy infrastructure.

Details: According to Western officials, Russia continues to replenish its forces at a high rate, recruiting around 1,000 people a day. However, over the past two months, even these numbers have been insufficient to compensate for battlefield losses.
