Joseph Vijay was increasingly being recognised at the national level for his governance initiatives, with the national media portraying him as a national figure, said Minister for Revenue and Disaster Management K.A. Sengottaiyan on Friday.Mr. Vijay was also scripting history by directly visiting government departments and public facilities to understand public concerns and assess their functioning, he said.Speaking to reporters at the Coimbatore Airport, Mr. Sengottaiyan said the Chief Minister travelled on Metro Rail, visited Puzhal prison and inspected drinking water project works in Chennai to understand people’s problems first hand.
