Newer IOL formulas more accurate for hitting myopic target

Newer IOL power calculations have good accuracy in eyes with intentional myopic targets, according to a study published in Journal of Refractive Surgery. Francesco Biagini, MD, of San Martino Hospital, Genoa, Italy, and colleagues wrote that IOL calculations have improved to the point where patients expect better results.
