According to the ministry, submissions should contain practical and evidence-based legislative or regulatory reforms that can enhance fiscal transparency and accountability while making Nigeria’s economy more productive and competitive.
The Federal Government of Nigeria, under President Bola Tinubu, has invited members of the public, businesses, investors, professional bodies, civil society organisations, academics and other stakeholders to submit proposals for the Finance Bill 2027.
The call was made by the Federal Ministry of Finance as part of efforts to develop fiscal laws aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s fiscal framework, improving the business and investment environment and supporting sustainable economic growth.
According to the ministry, submissions should contain practical and evidence-based legislative or regulatory reforms that can enhance fiscal transparency and accountability while making Nigeria’s economy more productive and competitive.
The ministry identified five priority areas for submissions.
