he Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has arrested several suspects over an alleged staged kidnapping involving a two-year-old child and separately uncovered a suspected kidnapping and armed robbery syndicate in two intelligence-led investigations.
The arrests and recovery were carried out by operatives of the Intelligence Response Team (IRT), according to a statement issued on Friday by the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Ani Iniedu.

According to the police, preliminary investigation into the case revealed that the alleged abduction was staged, with Sule allegedly conspiring with the child’s biological mother, Catherine Davou, to create the impression that the child had been kidnapped.
