Logistics major Delhivery has made a “nominal adjustment” to its customer pricing amid rising manpower, fuel, air movement and other network costs, the company said on Friday.
The company’s response to YourStory comes after Moneycontrol reported that Delhivery had raised shipping charges for D2C brands ahead of the festive season, charging an additional Rs 4 per express shipment and Rs 2 per surface shipment from September 1.
According to the report, Delhivery communicated the price increase to its clients.
The move comes after e-commerce majors Amazon and Flipkart had also raised seller fees, with Amazon revising cancellation and closing charges and Flipkart introducing penalties for certain seller cancellations and dispatch delays.
“With recent increases in manpower, fuel, air movement and other network costs, we are making a nominal adjustment to our customer pricing,” Delhivery said in its statement.
