Maybe it’s that her videos have been popping in my various feeds for ages, or that she gives advice in a sweet, self-deprecating but also “guys, don’t be stupid” kind of way, or that she has the Strategist’s stamp of approval; whatever it is, when Dr. Shereene Idriss talks, I listen. And she has talked about this OTC K-beauty eye cream often enough that I’ve purchased it more than a few times, but not just for my eyes — it has a mild, 0.1 percent concentration of retinol, so Idriss actually recommends using it on the delicate skin around the mouth in place of stronger, potentially irritating options. (Though I do use it for my eyes too.) And while I don’t have before-and-after documentation of its effectiveness, I can say that I’ve been pleased with my lack of both marionette lines and redness. I’m also pleased with the cost, which is accessible even at full price, but obviously even better on sale.
