Indian data center provider Yotta Data Services is planning to launch an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in the near future, according to its chairman, Dashan Hiranandani.

Speaking to Bloomberg, Hiranandani said that talks were already underway regarding an IPO, but declined to detail what valuation it would be targeting or how much it would seek to raise in the offering.

Previous reports have suggested the company could seek $900 million at a valuation of $6 billion. DCD has contacted the company for comment.

The data center company is currently aiming to have 400MW of capacity within the next 12 to 18 months, with Hiranandani saying that it has the ability to tap $20bn in GPUs.

In February of this year, the company said it was planning to invest $2bn in 20,000 Nvidia Blackwell GPUs at its data center in Noida, India. This week, Business Standard reported the company had placed an order for 50,000 Nvidia Vera Rubin GPUs, valued at $7.5bn, as well as 45,000 Nvidia GB300s.
