Russian forces have been launching jet-powered drones at Ukrainian regions almost continuously for two consecutive days. Over the past 24 hours, 16 people have been killed and another 50 injured as a result of Russian attacks.

According to Ukrinform, Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko said this on Facebook.

"Over the past two days, the occupiers have been launching jet-powered drones at Ukrainian regions almost continuously, including Kyiv and Kyiv region. Yesterday alone, an air raid alert was declared 13 times in the capital, lasting more than 14 hours in total," the statement said.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian shelling across Ukraine has killed 16 people and injured another 50.

"The Russians continue their terror today. They are striking civilian enterprises, food warehouses, hypermarkets, postal terminals, and warehouses storing books. Rescuers are still working in the Kyiv region, where the situation is the most difficult. Police officers are working alongside them, helping to deal with the consequences of the attacks and documenting the crimes. Due to repeated threats of further strikes, we are forced to suspend operations," Klymenko said.
