The footage, captured on PlayStation 5, aired Thursday as a six-hour Netflix exclusive before becoming available on YouTube

Rockstar Games released nearly 27 minutes of Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay footage on Netflix $NFLX on Thursday, giving subscribers the first extended look at the game ahead of its Nov. 19 release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X $TWTR and S.

Rockstar confirmed to Variety that the segment, titled "Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look," consisted entirely of footage recorded directly from PlayStation 5 hardware. Rockstar said Netflix had a six-hour window of exclusivity, after which the footage went live on YouTube and elsewhere at 9 p.m. ET.
