JOS — A middle-aged man was rescued on Friday after reportedly jumping into the water from the British American Bridge in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The incident attracted the attention of passers-by, who raised the alarm and mobilised to rescue the man from the water.
An eyewitness, Mr Amos Forte, who was passing through the area, said the man walked towards the bridge at about 1pm before jumping into the water.
