Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has approved an 8.5-acre Quantum and AI University campus in Amaravati to be established by NIELIT under MeitY.
The ₹730.7 crore project will focus on quantum technologies, AI, semiconductors and other deep-tech fields, with programmes planned to begin in September 2026.
The campus is expected to train about 8,250 learners over five years through degree, skilling and certification programmes.
