EPL: Petit backs Osimhen to add power to Arsenal attack

Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Petit has backed Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to bring greater physical presence to the club’s attack if a move to the Premier League side materialises.

Petit was discussing Arsenal’s attacking options when he identified Osimhen as a potential alternative to Julián Alvarez, who has also been linked with the club.

Osimhen is reportedly valued at around £100 million, while Petit believes the Nigerian and Alvarez would offer different qualities to Mikel Arteta’s team.
