MANILA, Philippines — Agricultural product prices dropped 11.7 in the second quarter of 2026, as the lingering Middle East crisis and a stronger US dollar against the Philippine peso raised costs.

The Philippine Statistics Authority’s (PSA) latest release showed that the producer price index (PPI) for agriculture averaged 99.3 in the April to June period, with all commodity groups declining.
